Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what Worldra and worldra.app collect, and what you can do about it.
Worldra is a Pixla Games app, separate from Pixla's other products. Pixla's platform Privacy Policy covers Pixla Hosting, Pixla Mail and the Pixla websites; this one covers Worldra and its website.
1. The short version
- The app collects nothing. Worldra has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising, and it makes no network connections at all.
- Your files stay on your Mac. Packs, scenes and everything you export are read and written only where you put them.
- We never see your card. Pro is bought from Apple, and payment details stay with Apple.
- The website uses no cookies and counts visits without identifying anyone.
2. The app
What it stores, and where. Everything Worldra keeps is on your Mac, in places macOS gives it:
- Your scenes (
.usdafiles) and everything you export, wherever you save them. - Access to folders you choose. When you open a pack, macOS gives Worldra a bookmark so it can open that folder again; it is kept inside the scene that uses it.
- Settings you change, and the list of recent scenes, kept by macOS for Worldra.
None of this leaves your Mac unless you send it somewhere yourself — by sharing a file, or through iCloud Drive or a backup you have set up.
Something to know before you share a file. A Worldra scene records where its props and packs are on your Mac — the location of each prop file, and a bookmark for each pack folder — so it can open them again. A location on a Mac can include a folder name or your Mac's user name. If you share a scene file, that information goes with it.
What it does not collect. No personal information, no device identifiers, no usage statistics, no location, no contacts, no camera or microphone. Worldra is not built with any analytics, advertising or tracking code.
3. Buying Pro
Pro is an in-app purchase through the Mac App Store. Apple is the seller and processes the payment under its own privacy policy; Pixla does not receive your name, email or payment details. Apple gives Pixla sales reports and the purchase receipt your Mac uses to unlock Pro, which identify a purchase, not a person.
4. The website
worldra.app is hosted on Pixla Hosting, which runs on Fly.io and Cloudflare.
- No cookies and no local storage, no third-party analytics, no advertising, no tracking across other sites.
- Visit counts come from Pixla Hosting's privacy-first analytics: the pages viewed, the referring site's domain, and a country derived at the network edge. Visitors are counted with an anonymous hash of the IP address and browser that uses a secret that changes every day and is never stored; the IP address and browser string are then discarded. A visitor cannot be recognized from one day to the next, or tied to a person.
- Server logs — the requests the website handles, including an IP address as part of ordinary network operation — are kept by our hosting providers for running and securing the site, and then discarded.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising. The only providers involved are:
| Provider | For | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | The Mac App Store; Pro purchases | What you give Apple when you buy, under Apple's policy |
| Fly.io | Running the website | Requests to the site, and what appears in server logs |
| Cloudflare | The website's network and DNS | Ordinary network data |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
6. Children
Worldra is a tool for making game worlds and is not directed to children. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@pixla.app and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep it
The app keeps nothing with us. Website visit counts are kept as aggregate statistics. Server logs are kept briefly by our hosting providers and then discarded. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or port personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a regulator. Since the app holds nothing about you with us, there is usually nothing to look up; for anything you have sent us, write to privacy@pixla.app and we will answer within 30 days. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a right.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
9. Security
The app runs in macOS's app sandbox and opens only the files and folders you give it. The website is served over an encrypted connection. Report anything you find to security@pixla.app.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes are posted at https://worldra.app/privacy with a new effective date.
